Understanding Your Own Viral Marketing Campaign: The Third Part
July 3, 2009 by Dean · Leave a Comment
In this third and last article on viral marketing campaign, the focus will be on sales. Selling might be the hardest part in any business transactions.
You might have read thousand of sales strategies over the Internet. Some experts might teach you the effective techniques on advertising but they are not doing well in sales. Why do think this is happening?
Due to the fact the amount of sales depend on the number of people who buy your product, sales run in cycles. In fact, this is the ultimate reason why you are spreading your campaign anywhere in the world.
Stages of Selling
According to Laurence Ainsworth, there are five stages in sales. Stage one is the Icebreaker (the building rapport stage) then it sails through the nest stage known as the Opening (outlining the issues). Stage three centers on questioning.
“Start with easy questions like “how did you start your business?” and “who do you sell to?” or “why did you buy this machine?” Ainsworth wrote.
“Then ask more searching questions once you’ve uncovered some issues like “why is that a problem for you?” or “what are the implications of not addressing this problem?” Having gathered your information and understood his problems we go to…”
The fourth stage is the Close.
“…as we move into the close keep calm, try to deliberately talk a little slower, then sum up the qualification session by identifying each issue and how you can help. You then ask for the order and stay quiet and you stay quiet until your prospect answers.”
The final stage is the Consolidation. This is the stage wherein you’ll make sure your customers will stick on the deal. Ainsworth wrote,
“There is something called “buyers blues” which relates to circumstances where after a purchase the buyer becomes disillusioned with what he’s bought. It often manifested by the unexpected cancellation of an order.”
To avoid cancellation, it’s mainly up to you how you bring your customers to a celebratory-cup-of-tea.
Ambient and Mobile Marketing
The idea behind ambient marketing is to create a loud mind-buzz using an extraordinary marketing technique. For example, if you are promoting Global Warming, you can create an image of a man swimming in an ocean where there are tall buildings around him. This image attracts a huge number of people, right?
Have you thought of connecting this concept to viral marketing campaign? If yes, that seems possible, folks! If you own a high-end mobile phone, try sending your customers the shocking images related to your niche. When these customers got curious about the image, they can click the link pointing to your website or site.
This technique can boost your list building campaign and who knows, it can also improve sales.
Music and Event Marketing
Music unites everyone. Whoever you are, whatever your job is and whenever your home address is, music makes you feel alive.
Now, if you love music, why not compose a simple jingle about your niche and upload it on YouTube? You can also use this jingle if you have special events to market such as symposiums or general assemblies.
I’m sure many people will learn to love your niche if you have something to offer them and they can listen to it over and over again. If possible, never stick to only one genre. The most popular genre these days is probably Rhythm and Blues.
This may be the reason why Obama won the newly elect US presidential election. Without a doubt, he has effectively utilized his African-American community and showcases their incomparable singing talents for him. In fact, Usher Raymond, the man behind the phenomenal 2004 album “Confessions,” expressed his full support to Obama by singing an inspiring song entitled Hush.
Conclusion
Never limit yourself. There are still hundreds of viral marketing campaigns out there. Keep researching until you will find the best seeding technique you can use on a regular basis. The magic behind successful marketing and selling is pure hard work.

Understanding Your Own Viral Marketing Campaign: The First Part
July 2, 2009 by Dean · Leave a Comment
Why do you think YouTube is very popular these days and even the stunning tennis icon, Ana Ivanovic, really wants it?
There’s only one answer to that. The creative minds behind YouTube have tickled the mass audience through the use of viral videos of any kinds. For this, anyone can say YouTube might have created the most unbeaten viral marketing campaign in the world. Who knows? They will create a YouTube search engine later on.
Fact is, creating buzz marketing for your online campaign is not too complicated but expect a lot of work. First, you must make sure your niche attracts all types of people worldwide. Like YouTube, their niche centers on videos and as of I’m writing this article, YouTube has gone widescreen for better watching.
Aside from watching videos, YouTube allows you to put keywords, title, embed options, and descriptions on the sidebar. Below the video, there are bookmarking options and you can also put comments when you register on the site.
Now, online marketing is like YouTube. All you need is some creative marketing ideas and once, you’ve got the hammer to nail your niche into the public eye, you’re earning money like a pro. There are various low cost advertising techniques you should be doing in order to attract people, readers, customers and prospects worldwide. Let’s start with…
Article Marketing
Creating a blog is a good start to start an online campaign. And every now and then, you need to update your blog with above-average quality articles related to your niche. Not everybody likes to write articles and you can always outsource someone to do the writing for you.
To make things easier, write your articles in story-telling technique. People love to read stories. Stories entertain readers and if they got hook with the plot, these people might give you a buzz.
Just be sure to add those important keywords you have researched in Google Adwords. For example, if your topic is about dogs and the additional keywords listed in Adwords are dog health, dog food, dog training techniques etc, thinks of ways to include these in your story.
After writing stories, never forget to post images. Images add spice to your story, right?
Branding
A while ago, I read this interesting article titled “5 Tips to Brand Your Business Through Word of Mouth Marketing.” This article is written by Andrew Carlson and these are his branding techniques.
First,
“Be a positive influence – If you are a bad influence, even a superb brand in your hand would not sell. You need to know that by being a trustworthy and positive person, your word would speak volumes to those around you.”
Second,
“Be specific in your target group – You should know who are your main customers, don’t try selling weight lost pills to underweight people, unless you have that gift of tongue. Remember that by promoting your product to the correct audience would also influence their friends who are more like them. The product would therefore be used by the correct people and pass around by the correct group.”
Third,
“Don’t be too friendly – Yup, that’s right; most people don’t recognize where to draw the line between selling a product and making a relationship. If you are selling a product, be a promoter, if you are building a friendship, be a friend. You cannot be both at the same time, it just doesn’t works. Of course, provided you are not a friend already.”
Fourth,
“Use the media – I know this is about Womm (abbreviation for Word-of-Mouth-Marketing) but who says weapons cannot work together? If you have won any awards and reported by the papers, it would boost your credential. Fully optimizing each weapon’s strength can work wonders.”
Lastly,
“Pass on the positive attitude- By using your employee to promote things the way you do would help create a positive circle of influences, thereby increasing sales. It also helps to bring your ideas across that everyone within your company are on the same boat, they live by the survival of each and everyone. This would in turn bring about greater womm among your clients.”
Remember folks: Brand marketing is about making an identity. This is the stage of searching yourself in the crowd of marketers and in order for the people to recognize you, make sure you understand their wants and needs.
(End of Part 1)
For the next series, I will further discuss the other components used in viral marketing campaign. These components are viral marketing software, direct mail advertising, sales strategies, ambient marketing, music marketing, event marketing, mobile marketing and pay per click campaign management.

Understanding Your Own Viral Marketing Campaign: The Second Part
July 1, 2009 by Dean · Leave a Comment
Like I said in the first part of the article, there are numerous techniques in creating an effective viral marketing campaign and as a marketer; it is mainly up to you which type of technique you are going to use. In Part 1, I have already discussed the significance of article marketing and branding.
Now, let us focus on another viral seeding techniques known as direct mail advertising, viral softwares and pay per click campaign.
Direct Mail Advertising
The inception of email has been a huge blessing to all online marketers out there. Apart from its for free, the use of emails is cheap, affordable and environment-friendly. Once you send the mail to your customers, you can assure that the message has reached its inbox.
What great with email advertising, you have the power to send the messages in various forms. People don’t want to read sales-pitch letters on a regular basis. Sales letters annoy them and in some ways, sales letter is a form of coercion especially when the reader is not interested in buying your product.
One of the most convincing types of direct mail advertising is product review. Product reviews are like informational articles that communicate with the readers on how your product is of beneficial to them. Here, you will write a short description of the product, it advantageous specifications and benefits. A good product review doesn’t only focus on how great your product is. Your review also needs to include the weaknesses.
Every product has its own strengths and weaknesses and these are the information readers want to read in your review. If you hate writing, you can create a video in YouTube and in your email advertisement, you simply put a link to which your readers can watch the product review.
Another type of mail advertising is newsletters. Janice Jenkins wrote in her article entitled How to Make People Appreciate Your Newsletter, “Newsletters are meant to be a window into your company. People read newsletters because they want to know how well your company is doing and what is going on.”
Writing newsletters is quite similar to a review. A newsletter includes your opinions, facts, statistics and ideas on variety of matters. For quick read, the message should be clear, snappy (about two to four pages only) and the writing style is conversational.
Newsletters may be written in a form of story-telling or in bullets form. If you are going to write your newsletters in bullets, you can assure that readers can read it in one seating and the information can be easily digested inside their head.
Perhaps, the most important part of a newsletter is the Subject Line. The subject line is what the readers will read first. For this reason, the subject line needs not only to be convincing but entertaining to them. For instance, if your message is about introducing someone who is your marketing consultant and her name is Rafael Thomas. You can write “You Must Help Rafael!” in your subject line and once people read your message, they might think of Rafael Nadal, the great tennis player from Spain or someone they can associate with the name.
When these people click the subject line, immediately strike your readers with a mind-blowing headline. The headline may be in a form of a statement, a question, or a famous quote.
After the headline is the content. The content further explains your headline. It elaborates the question why. Why should the people buy the product?
Of course, give your readers an unforgettable closing remark. Don’t forget to include your full name, your address and other contact details.
Viral Softwares
As an online marketer, you should know what kind of softwares you will use to spread your campaign worldwide. When you input “list of viral softwares” in Google, you will see a lot of websites offering you with affordable viral products that surely make your life easier.
In one site, I found this viral marketing software used to create PDF for only $67.
As I see it, choosing the software for your viral marketing campaign depends on your goals and needs. For example, if your niche centers on article writing, you need to find an article spinner software that allows you to spin article in multiple versions. It will be also great if this article spinner software can automatically submit the spun articles into different social community sites like MySpace and Hubpages.
Pay-Per-Click Campaign Management
You might have heard the term PPC but you don’t exactly what it means. Pay-Per-Click or PPC for short is an affiliate program online and once, people will click on this viral ad or text link, you will earn money.
For instance, if you join a PPC program that offers you twenty cents per click, you can earn two thousand dollars per ten thousand clicks.
According to Kristi Ambrose, an expert author in EzineArticles,
“There are two types of PPC affiliate programs; those who pay commissions based on the number of clicks and those who pay on sales. Pay per click is much more popular than pay per lead because you get paid for something as simple as a click regardless if the user buys the product or not.”
Learning the secret behind PPC can be advantageous on your part. If you don’t want to read articles about PPC, you can purchase a tutorial product online. These products will teach you the real-life strategies on how you can be successful in your viral campaign.
According to Wikipedia, Google AdWords is probably the most successful PPC affiliate program, followed by Yahoo! Search Marketing and Microsoft AdCenter.
(End of Part 2)
Hope you enjoy reading this article and use mail advertising and pay-per-click programs to your viral marketing campaign. For the next article, I will discuss the other seeding techniques such as ambient marketing, music marketing, event marketing, mobile marketing.

Web Marketing: The Powerful Step-by-Step Procedures
June 15, 2009 by Dean · Leave a Comment
“Your website should reflect what your company is all about (Ajay Prassad)”
This is probably the most insightful web marketing advice I’ve got after hours and hours of reading articles and blogs on how to create a website. After reading, I get to realize how exciting it is to be a web developer and putting your thinking cup every time you design a site.
In web creation, you should give your visitors what they want. In fact, most people will love your site if you keep it simple and attractive. Just what Rebecca Star wrote in her article titled How to Create a Custom Web Design, “When you’re doing your creation, don’t overload it with a lot of extras. Too many items can cause the site to load slowly. People will turn away and look for something else. They get frustrated if they have to wait minutes for a site to load.”
Sounds intimidating, right? Yeah, web designing might be tough even to those good programmers. A while ago, I read an interesting article written by Phil Anderson. He enumerated the five must-have elements of a good website.
The Professional Website Design
Number One, it refers to the consistency of design and writing styles. To him, “Changing font colors and tone of writing from page to page will give weird feelings to your web users. Inconsistent stance on certain and change of tone in your writing style will definitely confuse your web users and harm the site creditability.”
Two, the user friendly navigation. “Good site navigation will assure pleasant user experience and smooth information flow from the web publisher to the users,” he wrote. That means, those web developers and graphic designers should refrain from overloading the site with graphics and should also observe few colors spaces. From what I’ve learned, a smooth navigation system should only consist of left-side menu, top corner search, major categories bar written in dark colors, service page and recent releases.
The third element has something to do with reliable web hosting. According to Wkipedia, the role of a web hosting service is responsible for the visibility of a website in the World Wide Web. There are various types of web hosting services ranging from free hosting, shared hosting, clustered, reseller and FFmeg. The five variables you should look to upon choosing a good web hosting services are- bandwidth, storage, support, upgrading and the server details.
Whatever you choose from these services, you should also take note of a good domain name. A domain name refers to the groups of letters you saw after the www on the navigational bar. Your domain name should mirror the identity of your campaign. For instance, if your niche marketing is about learning how to drive, your domain name should be short and easily retained in one’s memory such as drivinglessons.com or basicdrivinglessons.com
The fourth element is the accuracy of information. “You might not have too much time organizing your website but the info served should be accurate and up to date always. Your users are there to obtain information and it’s no good at all if you’re serving incorrect info to them.”
Lastly, the contacts and creditability. “Make sure that you placed your contacts, such as emails and phone number, are properly displayed. This is very important so that you web visitors can contact you if they feel the need to,” Anderson wrote.
Seeding Your Website
Just as much as I want to discuss the step-by-step technicalities behind web designing, it’s now time to learn how to market a website.
According to Mike James Thomas, an expert author in EzineArticles, optimizing a website has two parts. These are on-page and off-page optimization. An on-page optimization is only implemented when you are changing the title tags, header tags, meta tags and alt tags of a page while an off-page optimization is the method of promoting your website to the public eye.
Off-page optimization has various techniques. You can submit the pages in social bookmarking sites such as Digg and StumbleUpon, spinning site’s articles and post it to article directories such as EzineArticles or GoArticles, inserting significant keywords writing articles and press releases and linking your site to popular RSS feeds and video hosting sites.
Making Life Easier
Creating a website can be tough for some people who have no rooms for patience and consistency. However, you can always ask for help. You can search for web developers online. Outsourcing can sometimes be cheaper compared to doing all those buggy activities all by yourself.
If outsourcing still sounds expensive for you, join an online forum and ask if they have some suggestions to where cheap web designing can be found.
But if you think you have a keen mind on details, allow yourself to browse various website tutorial-videos in YouTube or better yet, participate in a reliable Internet Marketing Program that offers training on creating websites.
Website Marketing is tough but is not so complicated if you have prepared the proper tools and softwares to your success!

Viral Email Marketing: Its Importance to your Online Business
June 11, 2009 by Dean · Leave a Comment
Viral email marketing defines as a viral (spread-the-word) seeding technique that allows you to use the power of email technology to proliferate your marketing campaign online. Let’s say, your business is not online. Try thinking of ways on how you can integrate the various email marketing tools to your business transactions.
In fact, making money online is easier using this technique. There’s no need to use white envelopes or spend a dime for Mr. Post Man.
Try rewinding the history. You will discover that the very first successful email campaign is the Hotmail. This was the time when Hotmail offered a free email account to anyone who wants their services.
Techniques in Viral Email Marketing
Your number one goal in email marketing is to spread the word. You need to give your customers the big reason why they are forwarding your message to their friends. You should know how to encourage them by any means. If they want comedy, send them links to many funny videos and jokes. If they seek for straight-forward information, let them know the procedures.
According to Claudia Trusty, there are four basic written scripts you can include in your email messages.
1 “Got this great coupon and thought you could use it too”
2 “Heard about this—want to go with me?”
3 “This is so cool…thought you might like it.”
4 “Great information. You might need it for your project.”
Whatever written script you will use, you must remember that your only goal is to increase readership and make sure you will use the correct script in every viral message you have created.
Before the written script, focus your attention on the Subject Line. The subject line is what the readers will read first the moment they click on their inbox and if they find it interesting and unique, they will click in it.
The “Open Me, Read Me” subject line is no longer an effective viral message and should be stopped immediately. An ideal subject line is composed of one to five words only. The shorter your subject line, the more catchy it is and when it’s catchy, the chances of clicks is high.
For instance, if your message is about introducing someone who is your marketing consultant and her name is Britney Sheers. You can write “You Must Love Britney!” in your subject line and when people read your message, they can think of “Britney Spears” or someone they can associate with the name.
Another consideration is your email content. Viral email messages can be written in various ways: sales letter, product reviews or newsletters. Whatever is the format, your email content should have an introduction, body and conclusion. Long contents will not work and will never be read. For this, you need to follow the K–I-S-S formula.
If your message is too long but is important in every angle, send it in parts. Readers will like it more if they receive messages with cliff hanger end points. Anyway, the goal of your writing emails is how well you are in circulating your viral ads (links).
Offering something can also increase the chance of getting clicked. Jeremy Long Chia Teik wrote in his article,
“It is senseless to offer ten dollars discount for every ten people recommended. This may cause privacy issues that may affect the marketer’s reputation. If such an offer really gets emailed, consequences would be drastic. We can only imagine the message will be sent like a spam, possibly overloading servers. Therefore, the best solution would be a tangible value-added offer, by which viral email marketing works effectively.”
Timing is also an important variable you need to consider in email marketing. If you have your autoresponder with you as your viral marketing software, limit the number of emails you send to your readers. Thrice a week is already enough. The chances of getting clicked depend on how powerful the quality of your message is, not the number of times you send them in their inbox.
Closing Words
The world of viral email marketing might be the easiest tool you can use in online marketing. My advice to you: Start small and never purchase any mailing list services if you think you don’t need one. As a beginner, the effectiveness of your mail campaign depends on the overall quality of your goals, the quantity will follow.

Viral Advertising: The Road To Your Online Success!
June 11, 2009 by Dean · Leave a Comment
These days, viral advertising and viral marketing are used synonymously. But be definition, these two concepts articulate different things. If you will review your marketing 101 book, marketing is always the bigger of picture of advertising and advertising is only a part of marketing.
From what I understand, the role of advertising is not to sell. Selling is different. This method comes after advertising. According to Dennis Francis, a consultant and business coach for chiropractors and other professional health-care practitioners and an expert author in EzineArticles, “Advertising promotes the distinguishing features, benefits and advantages of your offer to a wide market.”
There is no money involved in advertising. As an entrepreneur, your job is to let the people understand what your product is and how can the product improve the quality of their lifestyle. You are marketing the product’s brand, instead of its prices.
This like psychology! If you are an advertiser, you are only a psychologist who listens and evaluates your clients’ needs and wants. However, if you a seller, you are playing the role of a psychiatrist. You can now prescribe medicines to your clients.
You know, when you say viral marketing, advertising is only a tool you can use to proliferate your campaign. Other marketing tools are Internet, education, print promotions, sales, direct mail and public relations.
For this, you should give a twist to your viral advertising in order to make successful sales. Poor sales mean poor advertising, right? And this is what this article is all about. I am personally telling you the most effective techniques used in viral advertising.
The Viral Advertisement Ad
According to Austin Akalanze, there are three types of viral advertisement you might use in your business campaigns. These are…
SOLO ADS- these are basically the commercials you send to your customers through newsletters or ebook. It is called solo due to the fact that it has no competing offers found on the page. The customers who read your ebook or newsletter can immediately see the ad and click it, if he is interested.
The second is CLASSIFIEDS. Have you seen various square or rectangle boxes on a newspaper? This is exactly what an online classified ad looks like. These ads are all over the net and sometimes, you are confused where to click and what to click. This is the downfall of classified ads. There are many competitors along the way and you need to meticulously tweak your headline, text format, and duration of the placement to get attentions.
Lastly, the SPONSORED AD. “Sponsored ads are placed at the beginning, middle or end of ezine or newsletter articles. By reason of their placement and size, they tend to perform better than classified ads but not as well as solo ads,” Akalanze wrote.
One of the common examples of sponsor ad is pay-per-click campaign.
Other Viral Advertising Techniques
Apart from TV commercials, you can use your talent in writing to spread your word online. When you write something and people will like it, they will repost it on their blog or tell their friends about it. Webmasters will also pick your writing pieces and for publication
You can also take advantage of the different social community sites such as MySpace. If you like, create funny commercials to get notice but make sure, you have explained the benefits clearly.
As what Viveck Sharma, an expert author in EzineArticles, wrote in her articles which entitled Viral Advertising – A New Genre, “The main idea is to fill your audience with emotions of love, hate, happiness or anger about a particular issue. While doing viral advertising, you should forget about pleasing everyone and support a particular target group to produce 100% emotions in them.”
Conclusion
Viral advertising is a difficult marketing technique but if you let your crazy imagination work, success will follow right through. If your ideas are not working, research for more buzz marketing strategies and if possible, invest on some viral softwares for quicker circulation.

The Top Ten Viral Email Campaigns that Make Sales
June 11, 2009 by Dean · Leave a Comment
Without a doubt, sending out emails can make you popular. When you send emails to people, it makes them think they are special. In fact, this is probably the reason why the concept “email marketing” is born. Email Marketing is one of those spread-the-word techniques used in Internet Business. For now, let me tell you the top ten viral email campaign used to entertain your customers and friends.
Funny Videos
Everyone seeks humor. They still want to laugh after a very stressful day at work. This is probably the reason why YouTube is very popular nowadays. These stressful people are searching for various hilarious videos to laugh for a while.
On the other hand, it will also be a great idea if you are the one who will deliver those videos in their inbox. If you want to start a blog but you can’t think of any niches, begin it by posting some of the craziest and funniest videos from YouTube, MetaCafe, Google Video etc. Do the posting regularly so that the search engines will easily recognize your blog or site. Believe me, there is a huge demand for entertaining videos and people all over the world will never get tired watching it.
Once you have collected some clicks, never hesitate to make friends with these people. Get their email address, send them a nicely-written introduction script and if possible, give them newsletters about the significance of funny videos in life.
Jokes!
Of course, when you send out videos to your customers or friends, never forget to email jokes. A joke is always a joke no matter how old is it. People want also to read jokes because they are short and full of humor in it. It doesn’t require critical analysis to read a joke. Once you read it, you can easily understand what it means.
But be careful not to offend your customers with your jokes. Not all people are born equal. Some are too serious and can’t get along with your jokes. To avoid this scenario from happening, better search for funny jokes online and post them below the videos you have created.
Funny videos and jokes should go hand-in-hand and it’s up to you how to use these methods to your advantage.

Christmas Emails
As of I’m writing this article (12-2008), Christmas is around the corner and what’s great way of connecting with your loved ones and friends than sending them Christmas emails or ecards. Christmas is the season of greetings and although you didn’t meet those people in flesh, it will be nice if you make these people smile for a while.
Creative HTML Email
If you have some knowledge on hyper-text markup languages, why not share it to your customers and friends. HTML tags are very easy and even beginners can learn it. Your customers will love you more if you are going to offer them something they don’t know but of beneficial to them.
Broadcast Emails
From what I’ve read, a broadcast email software helps your marketing campaign into hundred folds. With this type of viral software at hand, “you can create, manage and send your own personalized email marketing messages to your customers (mailworkz.com).”
In short, investing your money to this software will be a great choice, right?
Celebrity Emails
Now if you are a big fanatic of those Hollywood celebrities like Matthew Fox or Katherine Heigl, your email campaign should center on showbizness. To those who love gossips and create make-believe stories, this will be a great niche for you. You can begin by creating a showbiz blog, collect news and a photo of all the famous celebrities out there and once, your blog receives thousands of readers, it’s time to make some grounds and earn money. How? Use the viral techniques I’ve mentioned above.
Birthday Cards
It will also be a good practice if you’ll get some personal information (e.g. birth dates) from your readers and every time their birthday comes, send them an email telling them your wishes and how glad are you to meet them online. There are numerous birthday card templates online, I see no reasons why you can’t send them your simple greeting.
Business Emails
Nowadays, everyone seeks for marketing advices on how they can earn money online or offline. If you think you are a good entrepreneur who got the skills and experience, never hesitate to share these ideas with them. When you do this technique, these people will be thankful and will come back to you for more.
Friendship Emails
Do you have friends? Are you the type of person who wants to invite various people in MySpace or FaceBook? If you answer yes then think of ways on how you can convert this hobby into money. Start emailing them with friendship quotes, inspiring videos about friendship and tutorial podcast on how to win friends.
Anyone wants to be loved and be loved that’s why; you’ll have to think of ways on how you can build unforgettable relationship with them. Marketing is about making friendships anyway.
Read Emails and Get Paid
This might sound very interesting to you but beware! The Get-Paid-To-Read-Emails sites are not generous. Some of them are even scams. From what I’ve learned, the average rate for every email message that is read in 15-45 seconds will only cost one cent.
For this, here’s my suggestion: once you join a site like this, get ready with a new email account. Don’t be satisfied with only one site, sign up for four to five sites and make sure, you are in great shape and read their emails with great interest.
Final Thoughts
Never limit yourself with these top ten viral emails. Do your research online, I’m sure you can find more. Viral Marketing is about spread your word to the world and this is not only limited to email marketing.

The Truth About Niche Marketing and Viral Videos
December 11, 2008 by Dean · Leave a Comment
Increasing your online-reputation can be easier with the use of viral videos. As what Mikko Korhonen wrote in his article, “Some videos are calling so much attention that they cross over to the more conventional arenas of the tri-media: the newspapers, radio and TV shows. It provokes a domino effect that gathers a lot of momentum with very little expended energy.”
That’s an incredible point-of-view, right? This, in fact, is the reason why video media site like YouTube is very popular. If you are not doing anything at home, begin your online business by collecting crazy videos from YouTube and feel free to use this technique to earn money.
Viral Video Phenomenon: Suggestive Tips
It might sound so easy to create an online kingdom about funny videos. By and large, you can make sure your niche will get a lot of attention.
“The more hits it generates, the more it is palmed off to other Internet subscribers. The more people who see the video, the more hits it generates. It’s a win-win scenario…,” Korhonen wrote.
When dealing with marketing videos, you need to remember three variables- Quality Traffic, Longevity, and Overall Theme.
Quality Traffic
This is the first consideration you have to look into when you think of videos you should put in your blog or website. It doesn’t mean comedy videos can generate traffic to your niche; you simply download funny video clip from YouTube and create a comedy lens just like that.
This technique might work but where’s the relevance? When marketing videos, you need to have a niche. Are you in for comedy? Or are you more comfortable with other niches?
There are various niches out there to choose from and align your niche with what interest you the most. For example, if you love MTV or listen to weekly countdown, you collect music videos of those most wanted icons in town. If you love David Beckham, I am sure you go for funny soccer videos.
Or choose dogs. Many people love dogs and your blog will surely be filled with clicks and comments if you regularly update it with funny dog videos.
Other popular viral video niches that bring quality traffic:
Stupid Video Clips
Tutorial How-to Videos
Tennis Funny Videos
Sexy and Erotic Videos
Product Review Videos
Longevity
Your chosen niche should last for a long time. Make sure people will always remember your trademark and this trademark should match the theme of your site or blog. Once in a while, it’s also good to create an original viral video of your own. Don’t simply be contented with embedding videos from YouTube or Google Video.
“Besides, posting any video for the sake of posting something just might have a negative effect on you and your website. Site visitors might assume that you are as disorganized as your page and as a marketer, you would not want that,” Korhonen pointed out.
Overall Theme
The success of your viral video campaign depends on how great are you in preserving your overall theme. Whatever the theme of your niche, might be funny, be crazy, be sporty, be sexy; the videos should easily capture your audience’s heart.
These days, with the economy is going down- people expect humor from you. That’s why; funny and crazy videos are in. People want to forget their financial dilemmas for a while as they check the latest scoops in YouTube.
It might be also good if the themes of your viral videos are about uplifting messages aiming to help people understand their inner strength.

Choosing the Right Viral Marketing Products for Your Online Business

Spreading your word online requires a lot of hardwork and consistency. These days, you don’t need to worry about hours and hours of writing articles to please those giant search engines like Google. With the help of numerous viral marketing products online, you can make sure you’ve got a spot in the front page.
List Building
With a niche blog at hand, your problem now is where to find prospects and customers. A while ago, I was searching and reading for some list building tools in Google and to my surprise, there’s Tim Brocklehurst and his MVS. Tim is one of the online marketing consultants who regularly teach you the exponential secrets behind any business campaign.
That’s why; as a marketer, it is a must to have a product that can help you find a list of possible customers. Yes, you can also use MySpace or FaceBook to find people who might purchase your product but sad to say, this free list building technique can waste your time.
If you want a quicker and hassle-free list building technique, purchasing trusted software is a must. You see, a list building product should give you the traffic you dreamed of (probably, thousands of visitors each week). It also gives you the assurance that your message is sent right in your customers’ inbox, not on the spam box. For this, you produced more traffic and more sales later on, right?
Viral Seeding Contents
Finding a good content-generation software can also be helpful to you. Perhaps, a product that can automatically spin your articles is a big help. Spinning a marketing article using {} and | is not a joke. Even if you an accomplished writer, spinning articles can be a waste of time, right?
This is the reason why I recommend an article-spinner software. If someone writes articles for you, giving them this type of product is a big blessing to them. I’m aware that there are plenty of free article-spinner-sites but these are no good. Instead of helping you with something, these free sites make things complicated for you.
In my case, I use SEnuke. SEnuke is a viral tool that allows you to create web 2.0 accounts in one click and once you have a spun article or a video with you, you can automatically circulate it to social media sites, bookmarking sites, video-hosting sites and RSS sites.
This type of product may be one of those effective strategic marketing techniques in order to ensure success in your chosen market niche.
The Squeeze Page
In street marketing, it requires you to pass brochures everywhere. This old-school technique doesn’t guarantee a successful overture.

The Gate to your Kingdom
For this, think of ways on how you can reach your audience online. Creating a squeeze page is one of the easiest ways of attracting customers. Your squeeze page is like a one gate to your kingdom. This page explains the details why these people need to buy your product. This page also includes various links leading to your sites or blogs.
In some ways, finding a squeeze page generator must also a priority. A good squeeze page generator allows you to build an eye-opening one page site with only few and easy clicks.
Final Say
That’s only the three important viral marketing products for your online business. Using these products doesn’t guarantee immediate success. The success depends on how consistent and dedicated you are in utilizing the seeding techniques to gain customer loyalty.

Creating Contents- A Worth-Doing Viral Marketing Example
December 10, 2008 by Dean · Leave a Comment
One year ago, I have no knowledge about viral marketing examples. However, when I got hired as a content writer in an outsourcing company, I tend to realize the whole marketing concept of my work is about circulating the relevant keywords worldwide using the techniques in search engine optimization.
As a content writer, my job is not easy. I don’t like writing a 300 or 450-words article for the sake of writing and I really don’t know why there are hype messages online telling you that it’s possible to write eight to ten articles a day. Is this a practical joke or what?
Perhaps, this insane technique may be possible if you own a viral marketing software with an IQ of 180 but geez, are you sure your articles are of above-average quality or are you simply trying to please those giant search engines?
The Hardships of Writing Articles for Optimization
Article writing has never been easy. You should insert keywords you get from Google AdWords or WordTracker and at the same time, preserving its nice quality. Sometimes, it seems very hard to write an original 700-word article with main keyword at the title, at the first paragraph, at the middle part and at the ending with additional keywords in between but you know what, this is where the real challenge sets in.
It’s only a matter of time when I get used to the routine. Truth is; article writing is the most common example of viral marketing. When people like what they read in your articles, they may write comments about it, bookmark it on Digg or StumbleUpon or repost it in their own blog. These days, there are article directories like Article Slide that allow you to embed articles with author’s link in it.
Power of Conversion
This might be the huge advantage of article writing. You can convert your article into multiple versions. You can create a newsletter, a press release, a squeeze page, a product review, a viral tutorial video, a podcast etc. Then if you are done converting your article, you can come up with an ebook.
An ebook is probably the most bestselling digital product online. Creating an ebook is like having an identity of your own. An ebook is one of the powerful forms of brand marketing. You can put several backlinks in it directing to your niche.
Plus, an ebook is not limited. You can have the whole space to express your viral marketing ideas. It might be also a great idea if you include fictional short stories in your ebook. Stories entertain people and when I say stories, this is only limited to words. You may tell a story in a form of podcast or video.
Imagine if you will do these things in your first ebook? Your ebook will not only be read by your own family members or relatives but the message will be forwarded to a friend to another friend until the whole world knows about your existence.
Blog Advertising
Having an ebook is a pride. That’s why; there is a huge need to advertise your ebook into the public eye. How? Use your blog. A blog is regularly used as a viral tool to attract more customers. What’s more good to this is, creating a blog is absolutely for free and you can select numerous templates to make it attractive.
Begin the advertising by posting a product review. Tell something about your ebook, why they need to download it and how they can benefit from it. Keep the review short. Try using the bullet form of writing as this style can be read quicker and clearer.
When you’re done, bookmark your blog post in various bookmarking sites. Include this piece of ad in your squeeze page, if possible. Or better yet, join forums and circulate the link leading to your blog post. This technique will not only bring traffic to your blog but also telling the people to download your ebook.
Cost Per Click
If you know any advertising services or programs that might lend you a helping hand in advertising your ebook, never hesitate to create alliances with them. These affiliate programs can teach you how to use the cost per click campaign in your mission.
Mark Kimathi wrote, “Cost Per Click is the price that you as an advertiser will pay for each click of your advert. This is a number to watch as it determines the cost of reaching your market.”
Conclusion
To sum it all up, content writing is probably the simplest form of viral marketing example. Writing may be hard for some people but if you are creative enough to convert just one article into different angles, your time will never be wasted.
